I went to visit Canvas Surfboards.<\/p>\n

Christian Wach gave me a little tour of the place,<\/p>\n

so I thought it’d be cool to take you guys on a virtual tour of what I saw.<\/p>\n

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the crazy amount of blanks.<\/p>\n

You’ll see everything from 12′ SUP blanks to 5′ shortboard blanks.<\/p>\n

There are several surfboard companies making boards here including Canvas and Nation.<\/p>\n

.<\/p>\n

\u307e\u305a\u5165\u3063\u3066\u9a5a\u304f\u306e\u306f\u30d6\u30e9\u30f3\u30af\u306e\u6570\u3002<\/p>\n

\uff13\u30e1\u30fc\u30c8\u30eb\u3092\u8d85\u3048\u308bSUP\u7528\u306e\u3082\u3042\u308c\u3070\u3001\u30b7\u30e7\u30fc\u30c8\u30dc\u30fc\u30c9\u7528\u306e\u5c0f\u3055\u3044\u306e\u3082\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

You move in further and this is what you see.<\/p>\n

It’s a state of the art shaping machine operated by Ryan Engle.<\/p>\n

Thousandth of an inch precision allows him to shape high quality boards consistently.<\/p>\n

The door to left is the entrance to Ryan’s shaping bay.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Lakers lost to the Thunders last night haha.<\/p>\n

Had to mention it since I noticed the Lakers banner hanging in this room.<\/p>\n

You move down this hall and there’s another shaping room with a few finished boards against the wall.<\/p>\n

\u3053\u306e\u5eca\u4e0b\u3092\u9032\u3080\u3068\u9055\u3046\u30b7\u30a7\u30a4\u30d4\u30f3\u30b0\u30eb\u30fc\u30e0\u304c\u3042\u308a\u3001<\/p>\n

Christian showed me several boards,<\/p>\n

but I personally found this one to be the most interesting.<\/p>\n

It’s going to be displayed at Bagel Shack located on El Camino in SC.<\/p>\n

Can’t wait to see the board there since I go there at least once a week.<\/p>\n

If you take the stairs that you saw in the hula girl picture,<\/p>\n

you’ll come to the glassing room upstairs.<\/p>\n

There is cool art work with resin on the boards and the floors.<\/p>\n

I’ll be showing these in detail in the near future.<\/p>\n

Hopefully my brain cells can survive the resin fumes.<\/p>\n
