Headed to Salt Creek after work.

Everywhere else seemed windy so this was the spot.

Put on my wet wetsuit as fast as I can,

even though the suit being wet made it difficult.

I got ready and then ran through the tunnel like a grom.

.

仕事後、ソルトクリークに行った。

他は風が強そうだったので、そんな時はクリークです。

急いで準備するが、

ウエットスーツが濡れていてなかなか着れなかった。

よく考えればスーツが乾く暇もなく頻繁にサーフィンができるなんて、

贅沢な悩みですね。（笑

準備が整い子供のようにトンネルの向こうへ走っていきました。

Clean, fun, peaky waves were waiting for me past the tunnel.

Chest high on the sets and crowded as usual.

It was funny seeing the surfers trying to navigate through the landmine of body boarders.

Only surfed for an hour but caught one really good left,

rode it all the way to the inside where I got slammed by the shorebreak.

トンネルの向こうで待っていたのは、

楽しそうなピーキーな波でした。

セットは胸くらい、面もわりとクリーンでした。

波は掘れかけてちょっと戻る曲者でした。

ショアブレイクがパワフルで、

一気にドーンとダイナマイトのような音をたててました。

財布には＄１しかなかったので、

一時間セッションとなりました。

波数は少なかったがセットのレフトを一つキャッチ、

長く続く水の壁にマンライでした。

Going uphill back to the tunnel.

Saw Joel from Catch Surf, and Robo from Cole in the parking lot.

Wanted to take pictures of them,

but both left before I could take my suit off.

Maybe next time.

Got dressed and decided to take a picture of Creek for my instagram.

波乗りを終え再びトンネルをくぐると、

駐車場にはなんとキャッチサーフのジョールと、

コールのロボがいました。

写真を撮りたかったが、

二人とも準備が早く着替える前に行ってしまった・・・

残念です。（笑

気を取り直しインスタグラムように写真をパシャッ。
