俺の『ニライカナイを探す旅』
はまだ続いていて、石垣島までやってきた。
まだ真夏日が続き、汗が噴き出てくる。
これは農作物を売っているこころ優しきおばあちゃん。↓
「とぅばらーま」というバラードを知った。
これは昔に農作業を終え、畑から家に帰るとき牛車に揺られながら歌ってた相聞唄、恋歌。
節回しは一緒に、歌詞は歌う人がそれぞれ変えるという島唄。
気に入ったのがこれ↓

美しいこころがしっかり残っている。
いやぁ、なんとも美しい琉球。
静かな内?から遙か彼方にある白波に目をやると、台風の影響で、ものすごい波がブレイクしている。
今回も屋久島同様サーフボードを持たない旅だったので、サーフボード工場「ブルーショック」を訪ると、島で一番のサーファー・シェイパーの嘉良（から）さんと知り合った。
彼が快くサーフボードを貸してくれ、なおかつマリンジェットで沖に連れて行ってくれる運びとなった。

満潮を待っていたら天気が怪しくなってきた。
出発前↓
嘉良さんの家の前の崇高なブレイク「ブルーショック（別名アカマタ）」に着く。
ここは嘉良さんとその仲間のみが入れるという特Ａ危険ランクに属する珊瑚礁ブレイク。
パドルしているのは俺です。↓

ものすごい波にびっくり。
波質もフィジーそのまんま。
日本であることを疑った。
お借りしたＫＡＲＡシェイプのガンの性能に目を瞠（みは）り、やはりこういう波でテストしているシェイパーってすごいなぁ、そしていつもここで孤独にサーフしている嘉良さんを改めて尊敬した。

やっぱり、豆腐屋のおばちゃんも美人やったんや、今も。
恋歌、歌う人によって変わる歌って、なんて素敵なんでしょう。
